We created a London wonderland for global leaders
Radical ideas inspire transformational thinking. That was the spark that ignited our audacious urban takeover for Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s mission-critical 2024 leadership event.
Already a top global provider of shipping and logistics solutions, WW wanted to kickstart a bold transformation agenda by gathering 110 senior managers for a three-day strategy brainstorm in London.
Our brief was to break conference conventions, reset expectations and push attendees into free-thinking headspaces. We delivered an uber-slick programme packed with surprise & delight moments at every turn.
On Day 1, Leake Street Tunnels played host to insight sessions and creative team-building activities. Attendees were asked to devise an animation or trailer on the ‘Shaping the Future’ theme. Little did they know their work would be rewarded later that evening at a surprise awards do, launched by an impromptu orchestral performance by the Board.
Following the awards, not one guest missed the invitation to let their hair down at the after-party. The impeccably curated open bar, street food stations and roaming live band created an electric atmosphere as the Tunnels transformed into a pumping dancefloor late into the night.
Day 2 started with a strategy session at the creative hub of 180 The Strand, ahead of another evening surprise. On our bespoke-built event app, guests were invited to gather outside the hotel to be bussed to Tower Bridge for an unforgettable private dining experience and after-party on the upper walkways. We timed things so that the team arrived to watch the sunset over the City. From that point on, the evening was punctuated by the sound of jaws hitting the floor. The setting was unique, the food was top-notch, the live band went down a storm and the incredulous feedback we received was truly heartwarming.
Day 3’s wrap-up session saw attendees buzzing with enthusiasm and transformative ideas. Minds opened, job done - and an iron-clad relationship forged between WW and Superglue. With a new brief in the offing, expectations are now through the roof. We can’t wait to smash them again.
